Absolutely fantastic service from Niddal Windows. A few days earlier, the small locking knob had come off my mum’s uPVC front door. She hadn’t realised the significance of it and thought her door was still locked, when in fact it wasn’t properly secure.

I called in to Niddal for some urgent advice because I was worried about safeguarding my mum and her property. This was only about half an hour before they were due to close, and they certainly didn’t have to come out — but Keith and a lovely lady, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t catch, came straight round to help.

They were both incredibly kind and reassuring, particularly as my mum was understandably quite anxious when she realised what had happened. Keith quickly reattached the knob, checked the door was secure and, amazingly, they wouldn’t take any payment.

It was also a lovely surprise to realise I knew Keith from my younger days growing up in Knaresborough!

A genuinely caring local company that went above and beyond when they really didn’t have to. Wonderful customer service and we were extremely grateful. Highly recommended.

Today, I went in to ask them for some advice on my front door hinges which was a Manse door, not even fitted by Niddal. I couldn't find these hinges anywhere as they were not the normal size. They called Keith and within 5 minutes he had found me a supplier of the exact hinge. I ordered them once I got home. Just exceptional service which did not even result in a sale for Niddal. Highly recommended

An orangery will not always require planning permission, it may be exempt under Permitted Development rules. To find out if this would apply for adding an orangery to your home, speak to the planning officer in the building control department of your local council.

How Long Does an Orangery Take To Install?

The time orangeries take to install is dependant on the ground conditions and whether piled foundations are needed. The bigger the orangery, the longer the installation process will take. It’s also important to consider that if we need to tear down an existing extension, this will add time to the overall fitting.
